2017 Christie Josef The Purpose - Year in Review

2017 saw the creation and release of the band’s 3rd CD, Understanding culminating with a CD release show in November at one of the band’s favorite venues (and where we played most of our shows this year), Atlantis Lounge/Mississippi Pizza Pub. We had the pleasure and delight to play the Wine Country Eclipse Festival, a sweet house concert at The Lab, John Neff’s recording studio joined by Zingari, and Brian McAvoy and Matthew Holms. We ended the year with a special Benefit show for the Lisa Lepine JWF Fund with a stellar line up of local musicians which raised $322.

2018 starts with a special in-store performance at Music Millennium on Sunday, February 25th. The band is also planning a house concert series in the summer besides the shows currently in the planning stages. Look for a bigger and better Lisa Lepine JWF Benefit Show in September.

The band also starts their 4th CD in 2018 and can’t wait to share even more new material!
